Site structure

A website in Saurus CMS has a tree-like structure built up of sections and other content objects. For each site language there are three 0-level sections:

  • Root or sometimes called "home" or "site" section contains all objects which form the website content.
  • System holds special articles containing messages that are normally hidden to user such as “Page not found” or “The search did not find any results”.
  • Recycle Bin contains all deleted items.

Objects in System and Recycle Bin are not visible to site visitor. They also do not appear in sitemap or in search results.
