Q: Can I buy software updates without buying Software Assurance?
A: Yes. If you are interested in buying one-time version upgrade package, it will cost you a Software Assurance fee of the period passed from the initial purchase multiplied with a coefficient 1,2.

Q: Does Software Assurance guarantee the version upgrade to Saurus CMS 4?
A: Yes. Saurus CMS 4 will continue current licensing and upgrading policy.

Q: What is the difference between warranty and Software Assurance?
A: During the period of warranty Saurus is obliged to repair all bugs and errors found in our software for free. We will send you a custom patch file suitable for a specific product version. This patch file does not upgrade your software to a new version. Only Software Assurance allows you to update the product to the newest official version.

Q: What happens if we do not want to continue to pay for Software Assurance for a while and join again later?
A: When Software Assurance has been cancelled for a limited period you need to pay full amount of the uncovered period multiplied with a coefficient 1,2 to continue Software Assurance later.

Q: How to install the software upgrades and who can do it?
A: You can download the upgrades from our download site www.saurus.info/downloads and install them on your own using our installation guides or you can ask our partners to do that.

Q: How do I know when new version has been released?
A: Version upgrades are announced through our web site. You can join our mailing list to be the first to know about new releases.

Q: I have found a bug in Saurus CMS, but the warranty period is expired. How can I get the patch to the bug?
A: In this case we offer service-based patches according to a current price list. Please contact us for more details.

Q: What is the difference between beta- and official versions?
A: We do not provide any support, patches or warranty to beta-versions.
