Cost of Software Assurance

Software Assurance costs 20% of the respective product's current price per one year. It is suggested to buy Software Assurance in the same time as you buy a main license since joining later will cost you more.

Example 1
Saurus CMS license was bought on January 1st with a price of 2400 EUR. The customer is interested of buying Software Assurance on July 1st. The price of the Software Assurance will then be:

1,2 * 0,5 * 2 400 * 0,2

The period passed from the initial purchase multiplied with a coefficient 1,2

+ 2 400 * 0,2

Plus the Software Assurace fee for coming year.

= 768 EUR

Example 2

Saurus CMS SE license was bough on January 1st with a special price of 650 EUR. The customer is interested of buying software upgrade to the current version exactly two years later. The current price of Saurus CMS SE is now 800 EUR. The customer is not interested in buying Software Assurance for coming year. The price of the upgrade will then be:

2 * 800 * 0,2

The Software Assurance fee for the period passed from the initial purchase according to the current price of the product.
